PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Training Diploma in Cosmetology is a comprehensive 36-hour program designed to equip learners with essential skills and knowledge in the field of beauty and personal care. This hands-on diploma integrates practical training with theoretical understanding across multiple disciplines, including Makeup Artistry, Skin Therapy, Health and Safety, and Business Skills such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.Participants will also develop technical proficiency in using ICT tools relevant to the beauty industry and complete a guided mini-thesis project to demonstrate their understanding and professional readiness.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:
- Perform professional skin analysis and basic skincare treatments.
- Apply various makeup techniques for day, bridal, and special occasions.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in all beauty procedures.
- Understand cosmetic product ingredients and appropriate usage.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build client loyalty.
- Apply digital tools to market and manage beauty services.
- Develop and present a research-based mini project or business proposal.
Entry Qualification:
- Minimum age requirement: Must be 16 years old
- Secondary School Pass
- Working Experience: Matured candidate (i.e. minimum 25 years old with 3 years of working experience) with another relevant certificate qualification.
- The final decision concerning admission to the programme rests with the Academic Advisory Board
